We were interested to hear of this documentary film about Ethiopian coffee farmers. We intend to see it as soon as it comes out and encourage you to do the same!
LCB Surf Store and Coffee Shop proudly serve only FAIRTRADE coffee. We believe in Fairtrade products and choose them whenever possible. Currently our Coffee and Sugars are always fairtrade. Growing up on a farm, we know it's hard work and believe these farmers should be well compensated for the delicious coffee we love to enjoy!
Our coffee beans are roasted in London and provided to us by Tea and Coffee Plant, who also supply our large range of ORGANIC herbal and traditional breakfast and earl grey teas.
Our milk is always ORGANIC. The cows are not treated with any antibiotics or hormones and special attention is paid to maintaing high welfare standards. For those who don't drink milk, we offer the option of SOY milk made from non-GM soya beans which ARE NOT harvested in the rainforest.
All that goodness and the coffee tastes super good...so you're treating yourself guilt free!
